1. About these Terms

These Terms govern your use of MEIRAN (the “Service”), a platform for discovering salons in Malaysia (hair, nails, beauty clinics) and contacting them. The Service is operated by an individual (the “Operator”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Role of MEIRAN

MEIRAN only provides information and a way to contact salons (for example via WhatsApp). Appointments, services and payments are agreed directly between you and the salon. MEIRAN is not a party to those agreements and is not responsible for the quality, price, availability or safety of any salon's services.

Salon information (menus, prices, photos, hours) is entered or confirmed by the Operator on behalf of salons and may be out of date. Please confirm details with the salon before visiting.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

We may verify your email address and phone number. One person may not hold multiple accounts to abuse the Service.

4. Reviews and user content

You keep ownership of reviews and photos you post, and grant the Operator a free, worldwide licence to display, store and adapt them (for example resize) in connection with the Service.

Your content must be truthful, based on your own experience, and must not be defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, infringe others' rights, contain personal information of others, or be advertising or spam. We may hide or delete content, and suspend accounts, at our discretion.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not: break the law; interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service; scrape the Service in bulk or use automated means that burden it; impersonate others; or post fake reviews (including reviews by or for a salon about itself).

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Service, from dealings with salons, or from user content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes, suspension and termination

We may change the Service or these Terms, or suspend or end the Service, at any time. Changes to the Terms take effect when posted on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
